JAWMAN DENTAL PATIENT PROTOCOLS:

Our highest priority is the safety of our patients and staff. Due to the contagiousness of COVID-19, we have incorporated new protocols and techniques to limit the exposure for each and every person that comes into the office. Jawman Dental has been closely monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Dental Association (ADA, local officials, and other dentists world-wide to create these protocols.  The CDC updated protocols on June 17, 2020 and we have meet and exceeded them since March.

In addition to the  patient protocols listed below, our staff goes through a multi-daily health check including symptom monitoring and temperature check. We have added extra air filtration in each room using HEPA filters with UV light and special in mouth suction systems chair side to eliminate the most aerosols as possible.

Before your Appointment:

  1. You will receive an email with all paperwork needed for your appointment. Please fill the forms out a few days before your appointment if possible.

  2. Please Social Distance as much as possible for 14 days before your appointment.

Arriving at the Office:

  1. Please wait in your car and  give us a call at (480) 348-1070.

  2. Any new or unfilled out forms will be emailed to you to fill out on your phone.

  3. When the dentist or hygienist is ready for you, you will get a call or a text from the office to come in. Only patients are allowed in the office for an appointment at their appointment time. Anyone accompanying you may wait in the car. Please do not bring children into the office unless they have an appointment.

  4. A staff member will meet you at the front door with a mask for you. He or she will ask you to put on the mask and take your temperature and blood/oxygen levels using a no touch thermometer and a pulse oximeter. If your temperature is greater than 100 F, you will be asked to reschedule. You will then be shown directly to your treatment room.

During Treatment:

  1. Please wear your provided mask whenever you are not getting treatment.

  2. We will have the patient rinse for 2 min with hydrogen peroxide.

  3. The dentist or hygienist will proceed with treatment using the best and safest techniques.

  4. When treatment is done, we will use the phone in the room to talk to the front office to collect payment and schedule the next appointment.

  5. You then are free to go!

If you have any other questions on the protocols and techniques please do not hesitate to contact us!
